Review & Comment Policy – Elysium
This Review & Comment Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Service of Elysium Medical Tourism Platform – FZCO (“Elysium”, “we”, “our”, “us”). It explains how reviews and comments work on our website, as well as the rules we apply to them.
1. Purpose of Reviews
We highly value transparency to help patients make well-informed decisions. Therefore, we collect and publish authentic patient experiences. This enables users to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of clinics before choosing the most suitable one.
2. Comment Feature
Our platform provides a comment function to ensure open communication between patients, clinic representatives, and Elysium coordinators.
- Users can ask questions in the comments section under a review.
- Clinic representatives and Elysium coordinators may answer these questions or express their appreciation.
- Users may also leave feedback through Trustpilot, social media, or other independent platforms.
3. Reviews
- Who can leave reviews? Only patients (or their attendants) who have booked a clinic through Elysium and received a medical service (diagnosis, treatment, or online consultation).
- All reviews reflect the real experiences of our patients and are published in full, whether positive or negative.
- Detailed and honest reviews provide better guidance for future patients.
- Once a review is posted, the patient is notified. Reviews may be corrected or removed upon request by contacting the Elysium team (legal@medelysium.com).
- Reviews are displayed in chronological order.
4. Comments
- Any registered user, clinic representative, or Elysium coordinator can leave a comment on a review.
- Patients are notified when their review receives a comment.
- Comments may also be corrected or removed upon request.
- To protect privacy, personal data must not be shared, including name, birth date, diagnosis, treatment program, or results.
Note: If a patient leaves a negative review, clinic representatives may ask for clarification about the dissatisfaction. However, medical details must never be disclosed publicly and can only be discussed privately.
5. Fighting Fake Reviews
- Elysium strictly accepts only genuine patient feedback.
- Patient identity and service records are verified before a review is published.
- Suspicious or fake reviews are investigated and rejected during the moderation process.
6. Moderation Process
- All reviews and comments are checked by the Elysium team before publication.
- Content containing personal data, offensive language, threats, unlawful material, or advertising will be removed.
- Reviews or comments that violate this policy may be rejected with reasons provided.
7. Retention of Reviews and Comments
- Reviews and comments are stored only for the purpose of ensuring transparency and improving user experience.
- They remain accessible on the platform for a reasonable period of time.
- After that period, reviews may be anonymized or removed.
- The duration is determined in line with legal obligations and Elysium’s internal service policies.
8. Rules for Reviews and Comments
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Sharing personal information (emails, phone numbers, addresses, social media accounts, medical data).
- Promotional or advertising content.
- Personal, political, ethical, or religious remarks.
- Profanity, threats, or obscene comments in any language.
- Hate speech, incitement to violence, or unlawful content.
- Paid or sponsored reviews.
- Content relating to the sale of organs.
- Disclosure of personal or confidential information of third parties.
9. Disclaimer
Elysium does not guarantee the objectivity, accuracy, or validity of reviews and comments. While we take reasonable steps to remove content that violates this Policy, we cannot guarantee its immediate removal.
