He completed his ENT specialization in 2003 and continued working at the same institution as a senior assistant until 2010, focusing on surgical and medical conditions involving the ear, nose, throat, and head–neck region. In 2010, he spent three months in the United States as an observer physician at the University of Texas Medical School and MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he participated in clinical observation and research activities related to nasal surgery, ear diseases, and head and neck oncology. Later that year, he joined the academic staff at Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine. He was promoted to associate professor in 2012 and to professor in 2017.
