He later moved to Istanbul to study at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, where he graduated in 2004. In 2005, he began his specialization training in general surgery at Istanbul Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital and completed his residency in 2010. Following his specialization, he began working at Antalya Training and Research Hospital in 2011, where he participated in a wide range of surgical procedures and clinical activities within general surgery. His academic work and scientific publications contributed to his promotion to the title of associate professor in 2017. During his career, he has also participated in several advanced surgical training programs, including courses in laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery. In 2017, he attended a training program on revision bariatric surgery in Belgium, and in 2018 he completed training on the Da Vinci robotic surgery system at Orsi Academy.
